Benefits of Mobile Dewatering Equipment: Belt Press & Centrifuge

Fergus Power Pump, Inc. explains the benefits for mobile dewatering equipment of centrifuges and belt presses. The benefits to the waste water operator are the contractor will provide consulting, training and troubleshooting procedures to maintain a solids separation. Many mobile centrifuges and belt press will have amenities that the mobile units are all in one enclosed mobile dewatering plant. The primary need for mobile dewatering equipment is during the interim of upgrading a facility. Other uses would be during an extreme draught condition and there is a need to implement methods to conserve water.

City of Albuquerque New Mexico - Water Conservation During Draught

Fergus Power Pump was able to lease the City of Albuquerque with a Mobile Andritiz Belt Press and Ashbrook Belt Press for two years. During the setup their mobile Andritz and Ashbrook belt presses, we provided consulting and training to maintain a solids separation. The City operated the mobile unit for a 14 month term with operations seven days a week with 12 hour days.

The City of Paris, TX needed a mobile belt press to complete maintenance while they were completing plant updgrades. In order to help in the interim, Fergus Power Pump leased the City of Paris a mobile Andritiz belt press. We trained the cities employees to use the belt press and were available to complete maintenance and troubleshoot if it became necessary.

City of Mankato Minnesota - Belt Press Rental for Digester

In the fall of 2012, the City of Mankato had a digester that needed routine maintenance. Their routine maintenance included cleaning the digesters and washing down the walls and aerators. The city contacted us to help perform the maintenance on the digester with the use of a mobile Andritiz Belt Press. While performing the maintenance on the digester, the material was pumped to the mobile Andritiz Belt Press for dewatering.

City of Alexandria, Minnesota - Mobile Centrifuge Use for Dewatering

The City of Alexandria Minnesota was in the interim of upgrading their dewatering Equipment. The City of Alexandria leased a mobile Bargam centrifuge from Fergus Power Pump starting in the winter months of 2008. The Bargam centrifuge was selected for the cities amenities of having a mobile unit that’s insulated with heating and air conditioning along with all-in-one enclosed mobile dewatering plant.

City of Dover - Waste Water Treatment Lake Recovery

The City of Dover, New Hampshire leased our mobile Bargam centrifuge during the winter months of 2012. The City of Dover was in the interim of upgrading their dewatering equipment and needed to recover the water in their waste water treatment lakes. Fergus Power Pump, Inc. set up their mobile Bargam unit and provided consulting and training to maintain a solids separation of minimum 20 percent solids. The City of Dover operated the mobile unit for six a month term with operations seven days a week with 10 hour days to recover the water in the lagoons.

Minn Dak Corporation - Lagoon Dredging & Separation

In the fall of 2013, the Minn Dak Corporation performed maintenance to all of their lagoons in Whapeton, ND. They leased a dredging unit and a mobile Bargam centrifuge from us. Fergus Power Pump, Inc, also provided training for the leased dredge and Bargam centrifuge, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures to ensure safety and job completion.
